Thom Sevalrud produces work for a wide variety of international publications as well as illustrations for clients in book publishing, graphic design and corporate communications. Some of these clients are; Pensions & Investments, Global Brief, Business Week, Mother Jones, Chicago Tribune, Rolling Stone, Scientific American, The Globe and Mail, The Journal of the Norwegian Medical Association, German Vogue, Canada Post, Sun Life Financial, United Airlines, TD Canada Trust, Pfizer, and Harlequin Books among countless others.
Thom's colorful and graphic pieces have garnered him recognition and awards from: American Illustration, Communication Arts Illustration Annual, The Society of Illustrators (NY), 3 x 3 Magazine, Luerzer's Archive 200 Best Illustrators Worldwide, How Magazine, Creative Quarterly, Applied Arts, The Art Director's Club of Toronto. His work has been included in group shows in Toronto, New York, and Amsterdam.
In addition, Thom teaches illustration at Sheridan College and at OCAD University in Toronto for which he was recognized by 3x3 Magazine as Educator/Illustrator of the Year 2020.
