Producing a range of artwork on a variety of subjects, from the climate crisis to mental health, they have a knack for delivering complex concepts with clear and concise visuals. Ane’s illustrations tell a story, with bold colour palettes and graphic shapes guiding the viewer. Whether its a detailed map or a simple visual, Ane definitely doesn’t shy away from making a statement. In fact, they embrace it!

A big i2i Art welcome to the incredibly talented conceptual illustrator and animator, Ane Arzelus! Graphically composed and wonderfully witty Ane’s illustrations have a story to tell. Passionate about communicating complex ideas with a concise delivery, her work is well thought out with a feminine undertone. Tackling topics from anxiety to meditation, Ane is inspired by the narrative behind each concept she shares. She enjoys bringing her illustration to life with a touch of motion and bright colour palettes that deliver bold messages.

Ane is a Spanish illustrator in love with witty visual communication and puns. Their work is full of bold colours and simple shapes to communicate ideas in a clear, bright and graphic way. With a career in Creation and Design and a postgraduate in Editorial Illustration, they currently work for editorial clients worldwide such as Adobe, HBO Europe, Oxford University Press and The Globe and Mail. Their work has been recognized by the SOI, Bologna Children's Book Fair, Shanghai's Children's Book Fair, as well as other international contests. Ane spends their days coming up with ideas, taking naps when needed, petting their cats and snacking often.
