Drew Shannon Illustration

Drew Shannon (He/They) is an illustrator living in Toronto. After graduating in 2011 from the Sheridan Illustration program, Drew has been working professionally for over a decade, and their work has appeared in newspapers, magazines, books, advertising and more. Clients include The Globe and Mail, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Vox, Reader’s Digest, and The Walrus to name a few. Drew draws inspiration from old printmaking techniques, and implements bright colours, bold shapes, and lots of texture into his work. Drew enjoys the collaborative element of telling diverse stories, while exploring new styles and innovative ways of image-making. When not drawing, Drew likes to play Dungeons and Dragons with friends and watch movies on the couch with Ripley the cat.
