If you are looking for inspiration than New York City is the place to go and illustrator Greg Stevenson knows just that! Greg applied his contemporary and stylized approach to a variety of sculptures he visited, a selection of which is featured below. All well known in one respect or another, the sculptures are thoughtfully brought inline and 're'presented to the viewer under a unified aesthetic. This rework of previously known pieces prompts the viewer to look closer and see things that they may have missed in a cloud of familiarity. The art world has a long history of one medium offering inspiration to another and this series is a great example of that. Thank you Greg for encouraging us to look again!
