i2i Art Welcomes Cut-Paper Illustrator Anthony Martin

June 18, 2024

Our group of amazingly talented artists at i2i Art Inc. has grown once more! We’re thrilled to announce that illustrator Anthony Martin has joined our roster. Anthony’s thoughtful cut-paper style is captivating and continues to catch the attention of clients. Based in France, Anthony illustrates the most wonderful and inviting worlds for viewers to explore. Full of energy and ability, Anthony's passion for illustration emanates from everything he creates; with work that spans from sublime to silly. Technically spot on, he is meticulous in his method, creating characters that evoke emotion and tell a story. Anthony's attention to detail is evident in the environments he creates, and whether realistic or purely conceptual, they pull us further into each scene.

Fascinated by music, history and nature, Anthony allows his passions to infiltrate his illustration creating whimsical works that are dreamy and poetic. Drawn to the world of illustration as a child, he has always been inspired to create art that encourages others to dream.

Although working entirely digitally, he painstakingly strives to create a hand-made look. Often framing his work with a circular shape or the silhouette of a portrait, Anthony constructs well-balanced scenes that invite the viewer in to wander and explore.

Fun Fact: Anthony would love to design a cosmetics collection from start to finish! Enjoy this small selection of Anthony’s captivating illustration.

Anthony’s primary focus has been newspapers as he enjoys rising to the continual challenge of ever- changing subject matter. His work centres largely around creating portraits and interesting scenes full of intrigue and wonder. Recently, he has been widening his experience and bringing his talent to different markets, entering the endlessly interesting world of conceptual editorial illustration.

Select clients include: Piatnik, La Letter Du Musicien, Les P’tites Histoires and Anciela
