It is with great sadness that we share the recent passing of one of our artists, Janice Kun. More than a talented illustrator, Janice was a beloved daughter and sister, friend and cherished partner who will be greatly missed. Our heart-felt condolences to those who knew her best.
As we take a moment to remember and celebrate the life of our dear friend we invite you to explore some of the beautiful pieces she created. A gifted artist with a refreshingly free spirit, Janice was a joy to work with. She brought an incredible amount of passion and creativity to each project. Janice will be greatly missed but her strength and character will continue to live on.
We encourage PEI graduating high school students to apply for the Janice Kun Memorial Scholarship. Set up as a tribute to Janice who passed away from cancer in August 2019 the fund awards an annual $1000 scholarship for PEI students pursuing an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts.
Applications are currently being accepted and students can apply at www.cfpei.ca by May 1st.
Anyone interested in donating to the fund can visit https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/60224.
